• The next Knitting & Crochet Guild Open Day is on Saturday 18 July at Unit 4, Lee Mills, Scholes HD9 1RJ(directions can be found at www.knitting-and-crochet-guild.org.uk). Come and see us there - buy from us and find amazing bargains on the famous Yarn Mountain where almost everything is 1p per gram and all cones are £1 each. More Open Days on Saturdays 15 August, 12 September, 3 October. Group bookings at other times by appointment - phone Liz on 0113 266 4651 (office hours). Order in advance, collect on the day and save postage. Let us know if there's anything specific you want to look at and we'll take it along if it's in stock, with no obligation for you to buy it.

• Interested in older books? The Knitting & Crochet Guild is selling their surplus library books (keeping at least two copies of each for the library), to raise funds to maintain and expand the library. These are mainly books from the 1940s to the 1980s, and the list includes several pages of craft books not related to knitting or crochet. If you'd like a list, printed or emailed, then please just let me know.
• Crochet Cottons Sale: to get your copy of the current Buy-one-get-one-Free sale email kcgtl2000@hotmail.com and we'll send you a copy or send your name and address for a printed copy. Some cottons now only £1 per ball
• P&P - it's been really hard to set a fair rate as packages vary so much in weight. All we can say is that if you pay by debit card we will charge you the actual cost of postage. Just quote "the website offer" when you order.
• We can now accept payments via paypal. Call or email for more details.
