Terms of Trading

KCG Trading Limited operates a PO Box correspondence address because it does not have central premises. The directors - all of whom are unpaid - work from their homes to save costs. Once KCG outgrows this system then premises will be sought and a 'proper' correspondence address available. Please do not send orders or queries to Canalside Farm. The Registered Office is a legal requirement under the Companies Act and is not for general correspondence or orders.

Profits from KCG Trading Limited are covenanted to The Knitting & Crochet Guild.

Ordering

You may order by post using the order form supplied, or by letter, telephone or email. Terms are cheque, Postal Order or credit/debit card number and signature with order.

We cannot accept credit/debit card payments on our website or by email but you can order your goods by email and send payment by post or telephone.

A replacement order form will be sent with your order or you can download from our website.

Please note that you may reach BT Call Minder when you telephone. Please leave your phone number and name - all queries will be answered though perhaps not the same day!

We will try to post your order on the next working day but please allow 28 days for delivery since we and/or our suppliers may be waiting for stock and some comes from abroad. If we cannot supply in time we will inform you within 30 days of receiving your order and offer you a refund if you do not wish to wait. If we cannot supply at all then your money will be refunded within 30 days.

Returns Policy

1. If you wish to return goods you should always contact the Company first to obtain a returns reference and state the reason for return. Please do this as soon as possible and not more than 28 days after your invoice date. Ensure the reference is clearly marked on your packaging.
2. If we have made a mistake with your order or the goods supplied are found to be faulty then the Company will refund the cost of return postage. We recommend using the Post OfficeÕs ÔSigned forÕ service so that you have proof of posting. The Company will not accept responsibility for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. Refunds are made within 30 days of receipt of the returned items using the same method of payment as the original purchase.
3. In the event you have a change of mind and no longer require an item then you will be responsible for the return postage and liable for a handling charge of either £2.50 or 10% of the value of the goods returned whichever is greater.
4. In the event you have a change of mind and wish to exchange goods then you will be responsible for the return postage and liable for a handling charge of either £5.00 or 10% of the value of the goods returned whichever is greater.
5. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Discount

All current members of The Knitting & Crochet Guild (i.e. those who have paid their subscription) can claim a 10% discount on most items – except items that are already reduced in price or that have been purchased by KCGTL at a special price.

Prices

Prices in this catalogue remain valid for at least three months after the date shown on the cover except where otherwise stated or where there is an increase which we cannot absorb. In this event you will be notified before goods are sent to you. The availability of goods should also be valid for at least three months after the date shown on the front of this catalogue unless they are withdrawn by our suppliers or for other reasons beyond our control.

Prices given on flyers will remain valid until the publication of the next comparable flyer. Please note that special offers and clearance items are subject to availability or while stocks last.

Books and patterns from abroad use different terminology from that used in the UK. Conversion charts are featured on the relevant pages of the catalogue.

There is no minimum order.

Credit/debit cards only taken on orders with a final total of £10 or more.

Postage & Package

Packages are sent by the cheapest postal rate, which may be parcel post, second class or even first class! If you definitely want your order to be sent first class, please add an extra £1.50 to the P&P rates quoted below. Charges apply to the amounts before any discount, vouchers or credit notes:

• up to £5: add 1.20
• up to £10: add £2.20
• up to £20: add £3.40
• up to £30: add £4.50
• up to £40: add £5.75
• up to £50: add £6.85
• up to £60: add £7.50
• up to £70: add £8.50
• over £70: add £9.50

Overseas customers should double these amounts. for Surface Mail. Airmail will be charged at cost. Please specify Surface or Airmail. Payment with order in sterling please.
